Inside Sales Representative/Estimator

We are actively searching for a full-time Inside Sales Representative/Estimator for our Pittsburgh, PA location.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Proactive sales approach
  • Prospect for new clients and opportunities
  • Assist with growing existing accounts
  • Probe and evaluate product alternatives for clients to provide the best value for each project
  • Identify projects for quote and provide detailed information to team on how to proceed
  • Execution of quotes to client including; researching products to bring technical solutions and value to client and sending them out in a timely manner
  • Support outside sales team by facilitating and creating sales orders and estimates, responding to customer inquiries, gathering information, providing submittals and technical assistance to clients
  • Front-line support for walk-in and phone-in customer orders
  • Determine and coordinate delivery of materials to ensure on time success to projects
  • Process customer orders, including creating the ticket/paperwork, ordering materials and scheduling deliveries to customers
  • Coordinate inventory management with the operations staff and the warehouse managers to ensure proper stocking levels and considering inbound lead times for all products Triton supplies

Qualifications for the successful candidate include:

  • Ability to learn and master technical construction and environmental products to provide education to the client on their applications
  • Must be comfortable working with numbers and utilizing basic sales skills, including closing a sale and asking for the business
  • Motivated self-starter who is confident and independent
  • Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task and problem solve
  • Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the construction and oil and gas industries, a plus
