Technical Sales Representative

We are actively searching for a full-time Technical Sales Representative for our Grand Junction, CO location.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Self-starter, self-motivated, detail oriented, multi-tasker, problem solver, independent and confident. Ability to learn and master technical construction and environmental products and provide education to the client on their applications
  • Achieves sales objectives by providing solutions to clients on civil construction challenges in a competitive bid environment. Able to initiate and implement a sales strategy in a territory and effectively capture the market share of volume in that geographic area
  • Able and willing to travel
  • Comfortable and effective at performing presentations to prospective clients or the engineering community
  • Proactive sales and comfortable and efficient at prospecting for new clients
  • Successful candidate will probe and evaluate product alternatives for clients as to provide the best value for each project. Must be comfortable working with numbers and utilizing basic sales skills including closing a sale and asking for the business
  • Determine and coordinate delivery of materials to ensure on time success to projects
  • Process customer orders, including creating the ticket/paperwork, ordering materials and scheduling deliveries to customers
  • Coordinate inventory management with the operations staff and the warehouse managers to ensure proper stocking levels and considering inbound lead times for all products Triton supplies

Qualifications for the successful candidate include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Self-Starter and Self-Motivator
  • Must have efficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the Construction and Oil and Gas industry a plus
