We are actively searching for a full-time Branch Manager for our Pittsburgh, PA location.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

The role of Branch Manager is to provide strong leadership in all facets of branch operations. They work directly with the Operations Manager and General Manager on the day to day operations of the branch.

  • Leadership
    • Provide leadership to branch team, take ownership of branch activities and develop “best practices” to drive operational and sales experience
    • Create atmosphere that is both positive and challenging, leading to great teamwork and efficiency
    • Coach and mentor team to achieve high performance and develop long-term careers at Triton Environmental
    • Provide management assistance for inside sales team
  • Ensure branch operations and inventory control meet Triton goals
    • Manage communication between office personnel, outside personnel and corporate office
    • Drive implementation of Triton policy and procedure by leading by example
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
    • Schedule and oversee deliveries based on customer needs, available equipment and drivers
    • Assist warehouse team with unloading of deliveries and loading of Triton trucks to ensure correct product and efficient delivery schedule
    • Manage inventory levels to support customer needs and business seasonality
      • Provide weekly inventory reports
      • Assist with product sourcing, purchasing, freight sourcing and logistics
  • Drive inside sales activity
    • Work as a collaborative member of our sales team to sell our products
    • Coordinate and communicate with National Sales Manager and Regional Manager
    • Align sales activity with Triton goals and outside sales team strategies
    • Assist in managing the entire sales process from quote to order to delivery
  • Promote a strong safety culture
    • Emphasize safety daily and lead by example
    • Achieve workplace organization and maintain facility, including inside/outside appearance, necessary repairs and upkeep
    • Ensure equipment is maintained for safety and long-term peformance
    • Maintain required DOT files for all assigned delivery equipment
  • Strategic planning
    • Set goals and monitor performance metrics
    • Understand market pressures and identify business trends to continuously adapt and track improvement
    • Knowledge of customers and competitors
    • Budget management and forecasting

Qualifications for the successful candidate include:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Eagerness to learn and grow
  • Motivated self-starter who is confident and independent
  • Detail oriented, able to multi-task and problem solve
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, 80 pounds occasionally
  • Efficient time management skills
  • Knowledge of FMSCA rules and regulations
  • Experience with QuickBooks accounting software preferred, but not required
  • Consultative sales experience preferred, but not required
  • Class A CDL preferred, but not required
